José Lauro Mata

has operated Cenozoic Studios since his first venture, Mesozoic Studios, was overrun by fecund, upstart mammals. His films have been screened in the US and in Europe and have gained recognition. José has written about Lighting for Digital Video and some tips for shooting live music.

Ms Mars

has been with Cenozoic Studios since 1999. In olden times, she worked at Good Machine in New York, which produced films for directors Ang Lee, Edward Burns, Todd Solondz, et al. Before that, Mars was with ShadowCatcher Entertainment in Seattle. More cenozoically, she co-wrote and co-directed (with José) several trailers for the 2003 and 2004 SXSW Film Festivals.
